Red carpet events are always fun to watch, and the Furry Vengeance premiere in L.A. definitely had its share of stars to look out for. The April 18th screening drew out some of Hollywood's most popular rising stars in addition to several veteran actors. Brooke Shields and Brendan Fraser were both in attendance, in addition to co-stars Angela Kinsey and Skyler Samuels.

Brendan Fraser appeared to be excited about finally seeing his first major motion picture in two years, since his 2008 hit Inkheart. Fraser has based a large part of his career on family movies, such as The Mummy. Furry Vengeance, an Earth conscious film for the whole family, is no exception.

While he had a great time making the film, it was not easy for Brendan Fraser to get into shape for his role. Because the film required so much physical comedy, Fraser needed more padding in his backside and had to pack on the pounds to make the movie. Since wrapping the film, though, Fraser says he has struggled to take off the extra pounds because he just loves eating pizza so much.

Another seasoned veteran who worked the red carpet was the lovely Brooke Shields. Shields first stole America's heart at age fifteen when she made the film The Blue Lagoon. She has since had an impressive career and seemed to be glowing as she made her way into the premiere.

Her amazing film and television career has not been the only thing keeping America's attention on Brooke Shields. In 2006, she caught the eye of the nation when she released her book Down Came The Rain. The book chronicled her struggle with post-partum depression after the birth of her daughter, Rowan.. It offered a very interesting insight and showed a vulnerability that let the general public know that even major starts are subject to trauma such as this.

The film veterans were not the only ones who made a splash on screen and on the red carpet for Furry Vengeance. Sixteen year old Skyler Samuels made her way down the red carpet talking up her first major family film. The children who see Furry Vengeance as sure to recognize Samuels from her roles on such Disney Channel hits as Wizards Of Waverly Place and That's So Raven.

Another actress who made the jump from the small screen to the big screen in this movie was Angela Kinsey, best known as Angela Martin on the popular show The Office. Kinsey is no stranger to television, having made appearances on shows like Monk and King Of The Hill.. On top of all that, she stars in multiple 'webisodes' that go along with The Office. The movie shows a totally different side of her than the one that we are used to seeing from her previous characters.

The Furry Vengeance premiere was full of favorite veteran actors and some newcomers who are sure to be favorites in no time. The family friendly movie also has a message of eco-friendliness that the whole family can enjoy together. Furry Vengeance will open in theatres across the country on April 30, 2010.
